HOW TO CREATE A WECHAT ACCOUNT

WHY CREATE WECHAT?

WeChat is widely used for communication in China. It can help you communicate with suppliers and access supported services within the WeChat and Weixin ecosystem. It can also provide a convenient sign-in option for platforms such as Pinduoduo when that option is available.

WHAT YOU NEED

A smartphone with the official WeChat app installed.

A mobile number that can receive verification messages.

Your correct country or region.

Your real personal information.

Additional security verification may be requested by WeChat during registration.

STEP-BY-STEP

STEP 1: Download the official WeChat app from your phone's app store and open it.

STEP 2: Select Sign Up and choose the registration option presented by WeChat.

STEP 3: Select your correct country or region and enter your mobile number.

STEP 4: Enter your real account information and create your password where requested.

STEP 5: Read and accept the applicable terms and continue with the security verification shown in the app.

AFTER YOUR ACCOUNT IS CREATED

Complete your profile and secure your account. You can then use WeChat for communication and other services available to your account and region.

USE WECHAT WITH PINDUODUO

Once your WeChat account is ready, return to Pinduoduo. If Pinduoduo presents WeChat as a login option, select it and follow the authorization instructions shown on your phone.
